- the frequency of visits to the veterinary is directly related to the frequency and quality of the grooming sessions made on your Spaniel? (And surely all coated breeds for that...) And of course also the quality and texture of its coat play a role!
At least that was the conclusion we made from a large study from one of Swedens most prominent insurance companies, presented at the Spaniel seminar in Oslo last Sunday.
And of course that is what all breeders already know, skin problems and ear problems are most often a result of lack of grooming and cleaning!
So easy to fix!
We have another grooming training class at Dogville hundesalong May 2.
Or call your breeder for help!
(Or don't wait too long to make an appointment with your dog salon. It is quite OK not to have time or interest for coat care, but a Spaniel should be trimmed AT LEAST every third month- and regularely combed and bathed in between...)
